. Если прямая речь выражает приказание, то глагол to say в словах, вводящих прямую речь, заменяется на to tell. Приказание вводится инфинитивом.
Нe says: “Open the window”.
He tells to open the window.
2. Если прямая речь выражает просьбу, то глагол to say заменяется на to ask. Просьба вводится инфинитивом.
Нe says: “Open the window, please”.
He asks to open the window.
3. Повелительное наклонение глагола в прямой речи заменяется в косвенной речи инфинитивом. Его отрицательная форма заменяется конструкцией “NOT + INFINITIVE”:
He says to me: “Don’t open the window”.
He tells me not to open the window.
