Робота з волонтерами
Вагома частка позааудиторної роботи зосереджена в рамках клубу інтернаціональної дружби, організованого на засадах волонтерської програми американського Корпусу Миру. Було складено програму співробітництва з американськими волонтерами Д.Вільямс, Дж. Беглієром. В ході волонтерської діяльності, реалізації проектів «Допоможи дітям», «Дізнайся про традиції іншої країни», «Збережи довкілля», «Традиції США», "Ваше здоров'я"студенти формують психологічну і мовну готовність до спілкування, реалізується комунікативний підхід до вивчення іноземної мови, створюється взаємодія, координація зусиль, що визначає інтерактивну методику.
Під час однієї з зустрічей з волонтерами обговорювалось питання стосовно життя американської молоді. Як приклад, подаємо інформацію, яка обговорювалась на цій зустрічі:
HOBBIES
Besides, lots of children and teenagers have hobbies. They join different clubs that are organized for young people having the same hobby. During their holidays young people like to travel.
There are also some political organizations, and different organization, that are connected with ecology or racial discrimination. As our youth, American young people also like to communicate with each other and spend a lot of time together.
PROBLEMS
I’m noticing a trend with our youth, due to the softness of our society most of them have no values, morals, goals etc. and its resulting in youths following instant gratification and pleasure above all else, I don’t see how America will sustain itself .We need to act fast to maintain stricter rules and constrictions on the next generation or else they will be ruined as well. Of course we could just ignore it, but I just thought we would rather not see our country go to hell. Yes, the "morals" and "values" of the past generation should be applied to the modern world and need not evolve to changing times... Yes, imposing strict authoritarian rules on young people is the best way to make them do what you want...
